PURPOSE:To lessen residual voltage of the titled body, and to prevent generation of fogging in an image by specifying an atomic composition ratio of C and Si in a carrier injection retarding layer, and that of C and Si in a carrier transfer layer and that of Si and Ge, and Si and C in a carrier generating layer, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The laminated type photosensitive body is formed by laminating a carrier injection retarding layer 5, a carrier transfer layer 6, a carrier generating layer 7 and a surface protective layer 8 on a conductive substrate 1 in this order. The carrier transfer layer 6 is specified the atomic composition ratio of C and Si elements to a range of (1:100)-(1:9), preferably, a range of (1:50)-(1:9), in case of forming the carrier transfer layer 6 by a-SiC layer. Thus, the mobility of carrier of the carrier transfer layer 6 is improved, and the carrier generating layer 7 is composed of a-SiGeC layer, and the atomic composition ratio thereof is specified within a specific range, thereby improving optical sensitivity against a long wavelength ray. And, the carrier injection retarding layer 5 is formed by a-SiC layer, thereby enlarging remarkably charge of the titled body and reducing dark attenuation thereof. |
