<p>A titanium-clad steel with improved bonding properties and a method for the manufacture thereof are disclosed. The titanium-clad steel is characterized by comprising a Ti-cladding, a base metal steel, and an insert between them, the insert being made of an alloy consisting essentially of, in % by weight, 0.05% or less of carbon, 3 to 20% by weight of at least one of niobium (Nb) and vanadium (V), and a balance of iron.</p> |
