PURPOSE:To attain temperature detection with high accuracy without being affected by background light by detecting a difference between a reference voltage and an output voltage of an infrared ray sensor and generating a bias voltage for a charge storage gate group depending on the difference voltage. CONSTITUTION:An output voltage sensing circuit 10 consists of a differential amplifier 10-1 and a power supply 10-2 of voltage 1V. An output voltage V2 of an adder circuit 11-3 is expressed as 6VXR2/R1+V1XR2/R1. The voltage V2 is inverted by an inverse amplifier 11-4 and becomes a bias voltage for a charge storage gate. When the background temperature rises and the output voltage is increased by the background light, the potential well under the charge storage gate is deepened by a charge Qoh and the charge Qs in the normal state is led to the transfer channel.
