摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a miniaturized concave lens and to enable the obtd. lens to be superposed on other optical elements by irradiating only the neighborhood of the area for forming a concave lens with light, and enlarging the indentation of the area for forming the concave lens relatively by increasing the buildup of the area irradiated with light. CONSTITUTION:Film 11 comprising a photoreactive material is formed on a base plate 10. When the film 11 is irradiated locally, differences in the vapor pressure, melting point, diffusibility in the film, and fluidity are generated between the unreacted photoreactive material and the product generated by the photoreaction. Thus, the photoreactive material are transferred from the area 12 for forming the concave lens and the area 16 other than said area 12. Accordingly, the irradiated area 15 is expanded, and the area 12 for forming the concave lens surrounded by the irradiated area 15 are concaved, forming a concave lens 17 by the effect in combination with the effect of surface tension. By this method, production of miniaturized or arrayed concave lens is facilitated. Moreover, since film-shaped lense array can be produced, the lens is suitable to be superposed on other optical elements, and the production process is simplified extremely.
