PURPOSE:To enable high-accuracy coordinate input by providing a coordinate detecting circuit which recognizes a depression position on a pressure-sensitive conductive rubber sheet in the form of coordinate values from the electric resistance ratio of a couple of X-coordinate detection electrodes and a couple of Y-coordinate detection electrodes and then determines an area. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 28 and a coordinate input panel 13 are put integrally in a panel which contains the panel and connected to coordinate detecting circuit 14 of a copying machine main body through a signal cable 33. The coordinates of vertexes of a specified area are specified and the coordinate detecting circuit 14 inputs the coordinate values through an input interface 17 to recognize the area and generates an image erasure signal. The signal is sent to an erasing device 11 consisting of a light emitting diode array, etc., through an output interface 18 and a part where the image is to be erased on the outer peripheral surface of a photosensitive drum 10 is radiated and discharged electrostatically. Thus, the specified area is copied. Consequently, no wrong coordinate value is inputted and the copy area can be specified with high accuracy. |
