PURPOSE:To obtain a miniaturized microcamera capable of performing a various kinds of switching by a momentary electrical command, by providing a function part which changes a state in different states, and a switching mechanism which switches the state of the function part, and constituting the switching mechanism with a self-supporting solenoid. CONSTITUTION:By energizing the self-supporting solenoid 4, and moving a crosswise moving plunger leftward, a half size mask plate 3 is saved outside the optical path of a photographing lens 1, and a full size of picture is photographed. By performing the energizing of the self-supporting solenoid in such case just momentarily, the switching can be performed rapidly, and the crosswise moving plunger 7 can hold the position even when conduction ceases. On the other hand, by moving the crosswise moving plunger 7 rightward by energizing the self-supporting solenoid 4 again, the half size mask plate 3 shields the half of the screen of a full size aperture plate 2 via a connecting lever 5, then, a half size of photographing picture is prepared. Even in such case, the crosswise moving plunger 7 keeps the position after completing the conduction to the self-supporting solenoid 4. In such way, it is possible to miniaturize the microcamera.
