PURPOSE:To automatically inform the time for adjustment of a machine, by presetting the time for adjustment of the machine and informing the arrival of the time for adjustment. CONSTITUTION:A definite period becoming necessary for span adjustment or the number of times worked is preset to a setting apparatus A. For example, (a) a P1-point where the apparatus A is operated when a set value obtained by presetting a predetermined cycle time from a start point is elapsed, a (b) a P2-point where the apparatus A is next operated at a start point when a power source is turned ON in such a case that no alarm is issued at the P1-point because the apparatus A is during use and (c) a P3-point at the point of time when any operation is performed when no alarm is issued at the P1-point and when there is the possibility that the apparatus A is further continuously used for 24hr form the P1-point are set. When these set values are elapsed, an alarm generating order signal is outputted to an alarm apparatus B from a computer 7. By this method, an operator confirms that span control is necessary from alarm sound to make it possible to take a predetermined measure.
