PURPOSE:To enable the dot shape of a heating element to be accurately reproduced as it is, by a method wherein, in a thermal melt-transfer layer, a first uncolored heat-melting layer, a coloring transfer layer containing a specific substance, and a second uncolored heat-melting layer are laminated in this order from the side of the transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:On a substrate film 1, a first uncolored heat-melting layer 2, a coloring transfer layer 3 failing to melt due to heat, and a second uncolored heat-melting layer 4 are successively laminated. In the coloring transfer layer 3, a great amount of an inorganic filler treated with titanate coupling is contained. All titanate coupling agents of the monoalkoxy type, chelate type, and coordinate type can be used. By using the inorganic filler treated with titanate coupling, the dot reproducibility of a recording material can be improved. As the inorganic filler, calcium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, titanium oxide, mica, silica, and the like can be used, and those of 1mum or less average particle diameter can lead to a good result. |
