PURPOSE:To develop metallic powder for a composite conductive material having high oxidation resistance and packing density by forming a coating layer consisting of a phosphorus compd. on the surface of the metallic powder and forming, in succession thereof, a compd. layer having a specific alkyl group thereon. CONSTITUTION:The metallic powder is immersed in a soln. prepd. by dissolving the phosphorus compd. contg. a P-O bond in the molecule such as phosphoric acid,phosphorous acid or hypophosphoric acid at 0.01-5wt% in solvent such as alcohol to form the film of the phosphorus compd. on the surface of the metallic powder at the time of producing the metallic powder in order to produce composite having electrical conductivity by mixing the powder with plastic and rubber. The powder is then immersed into a soln. prepd. by dissolving the compd. having a straight chain alkyl group of >=6C of higher alcohol such as cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol at 0.01-10wt% into alcoholic solvent, etc., and is dried at 150 deg.C. The metallic powder which obviates deterioration and combustion, etc., is produced by using such metallic powder, by which the composite having the excellent electrical conductivity by mixing such powder with rubber and plastic is produced. |
