<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of 'irregularity' of printing density, by constituting the thermal printing element group in a thermal head of thermal printing elements present at positions not adjacent to each other. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a thermal printing head having 256 thermal printing elements per one line, the thermal printing elements 701-716, 801-816,...,n01-n16(n=22) of the thermal printing head are arranged at equal intervals and the thermal printing element group of thermal printing elements simultaneously driven in divided into 16 and each thermal printing element group is constituted of three-piece interval thermal printing elements like that the thermal printing element group 7' consists of thermal printing elements 701, 705, 709,...,1013 and the thermal printing element group 8' consists of thermal printing elements 1101, 1105,...1413. Therefore, both in independent dots due to the thermal printing elements having no thermal printing elements heated in an adjacent state and gathering dots due to the thermal printing elements having the thermal printing elements heated in an adjacent state, the individual dots become ones having the same density and unnatural image expression generated by the density difference between dots is eliminated in a printed image by the density of the dots.</p> |
