PURPOSE:To continuously execute dredging work in the state of high density, by covering the upper section of a cutter wheel with a fitted sludge-storage-tank into which sludge excavated by a bucket is cast, with an air-tight hood, and by setting a pump for pressure-feeding sludge to its treatment site. CONSTITUTION:At the bottom section of the fitting section of a cutter wheel 1, a casting port 13 for casting sludge into a sludge storage tank 3 is set, and the upper section of the sludge storage tank 3 is provided with an opening section 23 for dropping the sludge through the casting port 13, and a cutter shaft 4 is provided with stirring blades 6, respectively, and the upper section of the wheel 1 is covered with an air-tight hood 10. Water is prevented from blowing into the wheel 1 and the sludge storage tank 3 due to pressure-applying air, and fluidity is applied to the sludge stirred by the stirring blades 6, and through a sludge-absorbing port 7, the sludge is pressure-energized by an absorbed-sludge-pressure-applying auxiliary blade 9, and is permitted to flow into a main pump 8. The sludge in the main pump 8 is pressure-fed to its treatment site via a pipe-line 19 by the pressure-applying air through a pressure- applying air feeding port 20, and is discharged.
