<p>PURPOSE:To certainly regenerate a trap while raising the efficiency of a turbo charger, by controlling the opening degree of a waste gate valve and an intake air throttle valve when gas with low temperature is introduced in the particulate trap of a Diesel engine or the like. CONSTITUTION:A particulate trap 3 is provided on the downstream from an exhaust turbine 13 in an exhaust pipe 2 with a temperature sensor 9 equipped on the inlet side of the particulate trap 3. A control deice 18 opens a waste gate valve 14 first when the introduced gas temperature detected by a sensor 9 is below the fixed value while the trap is being regenerated and, next, raises the introduced gas temperature by controlling the opening degree of an intake air throttle valve 10. This method makes it possible to control the trap regenera tion according to the introduced gas temperature.</p> |
