PURPOSE:To surely carry out doffing operation without applying damage to wound yarn layer, by transferring a package to a peg of a stand using a package-supporting arm of a doffing vehicle running between a stand and a winder. CONSTITUTION:A full-bobbin package of a winding position is transferred to a peg of a stand according to the motion of a package-supporting arm while supporting the package with a package-supporting arm 31 attached to a doffing vehicle 25. Since the rolling of the package by its own weight is inhibited by the above process, the damage of the surface of the yarn layer is prevented. The package supported by the supporting arm is actively transferred by the motion of the supporting arm to enable the accurate fixing of the position of finish the doffing of the package.
