PURPOSE:To permit the simple work and assembly by connecting a joint pipe made of metal or synthetic resin onto the peripheral edge part of the coolant inlet of a cylinder block through the frictional press-fitting and connecting a refrigeration pipe onto the joint pipe. CONSTITUTION:A coolant port 8b as the flow inlet for coolant is formed at a part of a cylinder block 8, and a joint pipe 20 made of metal material is connected onto the peripheral edge part of the inlet through the frictional press- fitting. The coolant pipe 21 such as suction pipe is connected with the joint pipe 20 through the guide pipe 1a of a sealed case body 1. Therefore, the coolant pipe 20 can be connected without applying the reamer work, and assembly is facilitated. |
