PURPOSE:To attain the left/right inverting print by applying print while maintaining the order of horizontal line fetched at print in a decreasing direction from the lowermost horizontal line opposite to the conventional state so as to have only to change the print control. CONSTITUTION:In applying left/right inverting print, at first a control section 6 sets a timing fetching the signal of the lowermost horizontal line signal of an inputted RGB signal to the timing circuit 5 to print one horizontal line at the lowermost part of the picture signal. When the print of one horizontal line is finished, the print paper is fed by one horizontal line and the control section 6 sets the timing to fetch one preceding horizontal line to the preset horizontal line to the timing circuit 5 newly to print one horizontal line. Thus, the horizontal line at the lowermost part (taken as the n-th) of the video signal is the 1st horizontal line of the print output, and the (n-1)th line of the video signal is the 2nd horizontal line of the print output,... then the print output having the same left right position as the video signal but opposite to the upper/ lower position is obtained.
