PURPOSE:To reduce bending stress generated at a partition wall by forming a recession part along the outer circumference corresponding to the partition on the outer surface of a scroll wrapping starting part of a turbine casing. CONSTITUTION:On the outer circumference of a ringed partition wall 4, that is, on the outer surface of a casing 1 formed so that the root part of the partition wall is fixed to the inside of the casing, a recession part 5 is formed along the outer circumference corresponding to the partition wall 4 from the start of scroll wrapping to the range of 180 deg.C. As the recession part 5 is formed, a thin connecting part 9 is formed by the casing 1 on the first flow passage 2 side and the partition wall 4, and a thin connecting part 10 is formed by the casing 1 on the second flow passage 3 side and the partition wall 4.
