PURPOSE:To obtain an image portion of an erect image with the same orientation as that of an image portion drawn on an original by providing a structure wherein, after a light source is driven and the image portion of a mirror image corresponding to the image portion formed on the original is thermally transferred to a transparent sheet, the light source is driven again with the transparent sheet substrate as an original to be copied. CONSTITUTION:An original 2 is set onto a sponge plate 18 on a support 17 and a transparent sheet 8 is laid on the original 2. Then, a glass plate 6 is positioned to a prescribed copying region on the transparent sheet 8 and pressed against a base mount 12 while holding a lamp housing 4 to light a lamp 5. Thus, a coated ink for forming the image portion 3 of the original 2 is molten by the heat energy of the lamp 5 and the molten ink is thermally transferred to the transparent sheet 8. Then, using the sheet 8 to which the image portion 3a of a mirror image thus obtained is thermally transferred as an original to be copied, the same operation as above is conducted, whereby the image portion 3b of an erect image corresponding to the image portion 3a of the mirror image on the transparent sheet 8 is thermally transferred to thermosensitive recording paper 9. |
