PURPOSE:To accurately determine the clogging state of a bag filter by comparing the detected parameter with the upper limit value of the parameter decided by the dust collecting gas flow rate and the allowable pressure loss. CONSTITUTION:As a pressure fan 12 is controlled so as to be driven at the calculated rotation speed of a computing element 20, a practical flow rate Q for dust collection is in time allowed to coincide with a target flow rate Q'. The clogging state of the bag filter 10 is accurately determined even for any flow rate without measuring the pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet sides of the bag filter 10, and an alarm signal based on the measured clogging state is automatically emitted from an alarm system 28. The detection of the actual flow rate Q is not only obtained by a flow rate detector 18 but is also measured by the input power for an electric motor 16 and the rotation speed of the pressure fan 12 and the actual flow rate Q is calculated.
