PURPOSE:To surely communicates with an equipment that a user really wants to communicate with in a desired time by setting time between one and another data communication equipments through the use of a control document and making the reservation of communication time. CONSTITUTION:When an originating side facsimile equipment 1 stores set time data and transmits the control document to the equipment 1 that the calling side facsimile equipment 1 really wants to communicate with, the other facsimile equipment of the equipment 1 receives the control document, and stores data on the equipment transmitting the document in a RAM 13 and the received set time in a set time supervisory part 20 as well. As the result of the supervision of a counting part 21 at a supervisory part 20, when it becomes set time, the currently communicating equipment is checked whether a reserved one or not. If not, the communication is stopped to restore the line, and the operation is ready for communications with the reserved equipment.
