PURPOSE:To retrieve and display both a frame and a time of a recording information data on a disk by converting respectively a frame data into a time data and the time data and the time data into the frame data. CONSTITUTION:The recorded content of a video disk 16 is reproduced by a pickup 1, fed to an FM demodulator 3, a code data of the demodulated signal is demultiplexed by a demultiplexing circuit 7 and a Philips coder/decoder 8. Then a Philips data is inputted to a microcomputer 9. A computer 9 converts and operates the frame data into the time data or vice versa. Thus, the reproduced position or search position of the disk 16 in both the frame and time is displayed on a display device 10.
