PURPOSE:To quickly remove phosphoric acid in the gas discharged from a cell for preventing corrosion of the piping or the like from the cell downward due to phosphoric acid by providing each fuel cell stack with a dispersed scrubber. CONSTITUTION:An anode electrode outlet scrubber 13 and a cathode electrode outlet scrubber 12 are set up between the respective anode and cathode electrodes and the fuel and air outlet base tubes 14 and 15 of the cell stacks 11. Here, the positions of the scrubbers 12 and 13 to be set up immediately after gas discharge of the anode and cathode electrodes of each cell stack 11 are made to approach the cell stack 11 to the utmost for shortening the distance between each cell stack 11 and the respective scrubbers 12 and 13. By adsorbing and removing phosphoric acid contained in the discharge gas with the scrubbers 12 and 13 set up just behind the cell stack 11, corrosion of the piping from the cell stack downward due to phosphoric acid can be prevented. |
