PURPOSE:To secure the coincidence of contents among decentralized files by confirming the date of production of a shared file via other stations in response to the operation of a start station. CONSTITUTION:A time stamping means 50 and a reset detecting means 40 give instructions to start an operation to secure the coincidence of contents of shared files. A reception control means 70 allocates properly the information given from other stations in accordance with the types of these information. When a header label and the date of production are available, a file comparison means 80 checks the presence of a file corresponding to its own station. If the presence of said file is confirmed, the later data of production is decided. When it is confirmed that the file of its own station is old, a file contents requesting means 81 delivers the transfer requests to other stations. If the file of its own station is new, this fact is informed to other stations. Then the updating of the file contents is urged. While a file transfer request, if confirmed, is informed to a transmission control means 60 via a file transfer commanding means 90. Thus it is possible to secure the coincidence of the contents among decentralized files with no intervention of an operator.
