An alcohol, ester, ketone, and/or halogenated hydrocarbon may be used in amounts of 1 to 50% by weight of the total solvent mixture as a secondary solvent. Preferably 0.1 to 5.0% by weight of a tenside based on the weight of solvent may be added. The textile materials include polyesters, polyamides, polypropylene, p.a.c., p.v.c. and cellulose-2¢ and 3-acetates or mixtures thereof with cellulose fibres or wool which are reserved. The Examples describe dyeing polyester and blends, with cotton or wool with disperse dye to give yellow, red, orange, brown, blue and grey shades.
