CLEANING TREATMENT FOR DEPOSITED SLUDGE LAYER

PURPOSE:To adsorb gases and odors into adsorbents consisting or granular open cellular bodies and to efficiently clean a deposited sludge layer by sealing the above-mentioned adsorbents into cylindrical bodies made of nets and sealing such cylindrical bodies into the deposited sludge layer. CONSTITUTION:The adsorbents 2 consisting of the granular open cellular bodies are packed into the cylindrical bodies 1 made of nets. The many cylindrical net bodies 1 are connected by cords 4 to seal the same and the laid on a sludge layer 3 which is the deposited sludge layer. A sand pump on a ship is then inserted into the open side at the other end of the bodies 1 and is driven to pack the adsorbents 2 through the pipe into the bodies 1. The cause for the environmental pollution arising from the deposited sludge layer is thereby eliminated.
