PURPOSE:To contrive the effective utilization of an automatic wiring region by modifying a wiring width according to the kinds of wirings to connect macro cells to each other. CONSTITUTION:The mask cells (gates) 1 and 2 of a gate circuit have inputs and outputs A-D. An automatic wiring region 9 has three channels 10, 11 and 12 in the same area. Now the terminal B of the macro cell 1 and the terminal C of the macro cell 2 and connected to each other through a wiring of a width wider than those of other wirings. The channels 10 and 11 are used for a wiring 14 to connect the terminal B with the terminal C, while the channels 10 and 12 are each used for other wirings 13 and 15. In such a way, by modifying the number of the channels to be used according to the kinds of the wirings, the widths of these wirings can be modified. |
