摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a highly accurate measurement to be performed even tough an electrolyte density in a blood plasma changes by using both low and high frequency impedance measuring instruments together. CONSTITUTION:Low and high frequency impedance measuring instruments 20 and 22, respectively, are provided in a blood pass 1. The low frequency impedance measuring instrument 20 uses such a low frequency that the cell membrane impedance of a blood cell takes a sufficiently large value as compared with the impedance of blood plasma or a liquid in a cell. The high frequency impedance measuring instrument 22 uses such a high frequency that the cell membrane impedance of the blood cell takes a sufficiently small value as compared with the impedance of blood plasma or the liquid in a cell. The measured values rhoL and rhoH obtained from the two instruments 20 and 22 respectively, are inputted to an arithmetic unit 24 and a hematocrit Ht is obtained from an expression Ht=Kloge(rhoL/rhoH) (K: constant).
