PURPOSE:To mechanically, safely and equally supply a stock, and to execute heating of its head part by supplying and taking out the stock which is carried in and out by a liftable carrying means, in the axial direction of plural sets of heating furnaces placed in parallel by a supplying and taking-out means. CONSTITUTION:A stock 4 carried in by a lifter conveyor 5 driven by a motor 9 is inserted by an inserting pusher (omitted in the figure) into one of high frequency induction heating coils 1-3 placed in parallel. The stock 4 whose head part has been heated is extruded and discharged onto said lifter conveyor 5 by an extruding pusher (omitted in the figure) from the opposite side. Said lifter conveyor 5 can be allowed to ascend and descend by a quadric parallel crank mechanism 6 operated by an air cylinder 7, and an interference of the stock 4 which is held thereon and the stock 4 which is being heated is avoided. Also, it is desirable that the stock 4 is held in the axial direction of said heating coils 1... by providing a claw (omitted in the figure), etc., on the lift conveyor 5. Moreover, carrying, supplying and taking-out of the stock 4 are controlled by a controller, and by supplying equally the stock 4 to the heating coil 1..., heating is executed efficiently.
