PURPOSE:To improve environmental resistance and durability by arranging an interlock fixture which is holed only at a space position where a rod passes inside a cover and nearby an in-box end part when the rod extends to the outmost part. CONSTITUTION:A case 15 and a cover 4 are assembled across a packing 16 and rod is inserted penetrating one end 15b of the case 15 so that is can move axially and linearly. The fixture 20 which is holed only at the space position part where the rod 1 passes when inserted closely to the internal end while the interlock fixture 20 is inside the cover 4 and the rod 1 is drawn out to the outmost part is arranged on the cover internal wall. Then, the external end side of the rod 1 is coupled with part of a movable machine 21 as an object of movement quantity measurement through a coupler 12. Only when the rod 1 is drawn out to the outmost part, the cover 4 is disengaged from the hole part 20a of the fixture 20 and allowed to be attached and detached. Thus, the durable life can be prolonged even in bad environment.
