PURPOSE:To mold monolithically a shock absorbing layer without transferring a carpet layer into another mold, by constituting a top force with an outer mold and an inner mold, press-molding a carpet raw fabric, forming a space between the carpet layer and the inner mold by elevating the top force, and pouring a foamable synthetic resin liquid into the space. CONSTITUTION:A carpet raw fabric 31 is placed between a bottom force 2 and a top force 3. The carpet raw fabric is press-molded between a cavity 17 of the bottom force 2 and a projection 18 of an inner mold 7 by lowering movable parts 8 and 13 of elevating-lowering devices 5 and 12 to mold a carpet layer 33. While the outer circumferencial part 32 of the carpet layer 33 is kept to be pressed by a pressing part 9, the elevating-lowering device 12 is worked, and the inner mold 7 is moved to an upper part in a groove 10 of the outer mold 6 by elevating the movable part 13 to form a space 37 between the lower part of the inner mold 7 and the carpet layer 33. A raw liquid 35 of a foamable synthetic resin is poured in the space 37 from a pouring machine 40. The raw liquid 35 is foamed and cured to be formed monolithically into a shock absorbing layer 36 with the carpet layer 33. A floor carpet 38 having a desired shape can be thereby obtained. |
