PURPOSE:To obtain a bathing agent effective in preventing the deposition of chlorophyll to bathtub, etc., without inhibiting the activity and effect of copper chlorophyllin sodium, by using copper chlorophyllin sodium in combination with an anionic surfactant and/or ampholytic surfactant. CONSTITUTION:An anionic surfactant (preferably sulfosuccinic acid dioctyl sodium salt) and/or an ampholytic surfactant (preferably having lysine as a principal skeleton) are compounded to a bathing agent containing copper chlorophyllin sodium as an active component. Copper chlorophyllin sodium has various functions such as wound curing action, promotion of function of organs, hemopoietic action, anti-inflammation action, bactericidal action, deodorizing action, vitamin-protecting action, etc., and improves bathing effect by coloring the bath water to beautiful bluish green color. The addition of the surfactant is effective in preventing the staining of bathtub and clothes with chlorophyll without deteriorating the performance and effect of the above active component and enables the use of the remaining bath water for washing.
