PURPOSE:To prevent the cutting of a band and to improve the yield of a product by performing a binding by making the binding force of the band on and after a 2nd piece larger than the case of a 1st piece, in case of winding plural bends by piling them up on a coil like strip steel. CONSTITUTION:In case of binding a coil like strip steel 1 by winding plural bands thereon a 1st band 7a is bound to the degrees that the tail end part 1a of the coil like strip steel 1 is attained to the state of its dropping slightly by a springback. A 2nd band 7b is then wound thereon with the binding force larger than that of the band 7a to cause a sag at the gap S part caused by the tail end part 1a on the 1st band 7a. In this case the cut thereof can be prevented due to the sag of the band 7a. Consequently the cut of bands 7b, 7c is eliminated as well and the generation of the flaw of a product can be prevented, so the product yield is improved.
