PURPOSE:To easily impact soft feeling to a hard substrate, by coating the hard substrate with a paint containing a prepolymer having isocyanate group at the terminal as a main agent and a compound containing ketimine bond as a curing agent and curing the paint. CONSTITUTION:A molded article having hard feeling is coated with a paint containing (A) a main agent consisting of a prepolymer having isocyanate group at the terminal and produced by reacting a polyisocyanate (e.g. tetramethylene diisocyanate) with a polyol (e.g. polyester polyol) preferably in a solvent free from active hydrogen or in the absence of solvent at 30-200 deg.C, (B) a curing agent consisting of a ketimine bond-containing compound produced by reacting a polyamine (e.g. ethylenediamine) with a ketone (e.g. acetone) preferably in a solvent such as triol until the stoichiometric amount of water is essentially removed from the system and preferably (C) a flatting agent and the paint is cured to impart excellent appearance similar to natural leather and heat- resistance, etc., to the molded article and to obtain an article suitable for automobile parts. The thickness of the coating layer is preferably 50-500mum.
