PURPOSE:To abbreviate a process and to obtain a wear resistant seat part under high temp. and high pressure by abutting the compact containing a specified component to a cylinder head and depositing it with high frequency heating. CONSTITUTION:A formed body 6 contains an alloy powder of lower m.p. than that of the material for cylinder head, contains a hard particle for giving wear resistance as a seat material and is a compact combined by a resin binder, etc. This plate like formed body 6 is abutted to the recessed place 7 formed on a cylinder head 2, a high frequency heating coil 5 supported by a stopper 4 is used and the formed body 6 is deposited with its cladding to the cylinder head 2 by high frequency heating method to obtain a high frequency melted seat part. The forming of a valve seat is thus performed easily with less stages.
