PURPOSE:To manufacture an inspecting jig in a short time by providing raw materials of the inspecting jig on the jig at specific positions across a supporting member and working the specific positions of the raw materials according to NC data. CONSTITUTION:An NC tape is formed first by using a computer-aided setting system CAD. A computer 40 reads chart data 42 corresponding to the shape of the body panel W of an automobile, etc., set previously as a data base and generates the NC tape 44 for working the inspecting jig to be manufactured by using the data 42. An iron plate 48, on the other hand, is mounted on the top surface part of a die base 47 consisting of iron pipes, etc., and raw materials 50a and 50b made of resin, etc., for constituting the die block of the inspecting jig are banked. Then, the inspection positions of the raw materials 50a and 50b to the body panel W are accurately worked by the jig according to the NC tape 44 to manufacture the die blocks 56a and 56b of the inspecting jig, and a raw material 57 which is detachable is banked on this block and accurately worked by the jig 54 to form a waste member 58; and then a raw material 60 is banked to form a detection block 64.
