This chromatic cell is intended for recognising and signalling successive and different dominant colours visible to the human eye in the sky from a location to be defined and from its three primary colours, red, green and blue. It consists principally of, on the one hand, a colour sensor with a hollow body fitted with filters, photocells or photodiodes, optionally with a lens, a diffuser and a lens shield; and on the other hand of an electronic circuit board. <IMAGE>
