PURPOSE:To make lots of copies of a program at the same time and to distribute them at the end point of time of the program by controlling a drive means and a recording means so as to record a signal representing the program onto plural recording media simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:The titled recorder is provide with a detection means detecting a copied program and generating a signal representing the program. plural recording media 18, a drive means 22 driving the plural recording media 18, a recording means 16 recording the plural recording media 18, and a control means 14 controlling the drive means 22 and the recording means 16 to record the signal representing the program onto the plural recording media 18 at the same time. During the progress of the program, the detection means 12 generates a signal representing the program and the signal representing the program by the drive means 22 and the recording means 16 controlled by the control means 14 is recorded in real time on the plural recording media. Thus, lots of copies are finished at the end of the program and immediate distribution is attained.
