PURPOSE:To prevent the large capacity of data transfer from giving an adverse influence on a system by detecting the number of main processors under operation, hourly dispersing and executing data transfer to the main processors receiving an IPL from auxiliary storage devices according to the detected number. CONSTITUTION:The main processors 1-1-1-n, a control processor 5, a storage device 4, the auxiliary storage devices 9-1 and 9-2, and others I/O devices 10-12 and the like, all of which constitute a multiprocessor system, are connected to a bus 7. A system control program in the main processors 1-1-1-n scan a processor register 6 inside the control processor 5, whereby the number of the main processors under operation at present in the system is notified. If the number of operating main processors is over '1', a large capacity of data in the IPL is divided and hourly dispersed in the clearance of data that is put in and put out from the main processors at the time of on-line. |
