PURPOSE:To reduce cost, and to prevent multiple reflection by imparting a function, in which only a specific wavelength is transmitted, to a window glass for a light-receiving section. CONSTITUTION:A function (such as infrared cutting) in which only a specific wavelength is transmitted is given to window glass 3 itself of an IC package 1. Rays can be passed through a visible ray range (400nm-800nm) as the specific wavelength, and inversely rays can also be passed only through an infrared range (700nm or more) and an infrared solid-state image sensing device can also be manufactured. Accordingly, an infrared cut filter is unnecessitated, and multiple reflection can be prevented because of one glass though incident rays have been multiple-reflected between the window glass and the infrared out filter and resolution has been lowered.
