PURPOSE:To perform voltage changeovers without noise generation by using solid state relays (SSR) which have zero cross switching functions and operating these switches in accordance with specific timing charts. CONSTITUTION:A power transformer 3 with the same phase is connected with a driving part 2 of a rotary anode 1 in a X-ray tube XT by changeover means 4 in which a starting operation and constant-speed rotation and a controlling operation are changed. The means 4 are composed of SSRs as switches SW1 and SW2, to which voltages of 220V and 60V are connected respectively. The SW1 and SW2 are provided with illustrated specific timing charts with respect to a rotation request signal given from outside. Hence, the anode 1 is turned on and started only for a fixed time T1 by the rotation request input, and it comes soon in a rated operation. When the SW2 is turned on thereafter, the voltage changeover is performed. A controlling operation is performed only for a fixed time T2 by a SW1.
