WELDING MONITORING DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To observe a weld zone during welding work by providing a reflector with the spherical surface to the upper part of the weld zone and reflecting a welding arc and making the whole of the weld zone to the same brightness to observe the weld zone with an optical means having a filter to cut a specific wavelength. CONSTITUTION:At the time of welding a groove 2a of a materials 2 and 2 to be welded, the welding arc 9 is formed between the material 2 to be welded and a welding wire 8 while supplying inert gas 11 from a nozzle 6 of a welding torch part 1 and the groove 2 is welded at a welding place 4. In this case, the spherical light reflector 10 whose inside is mirror-finished is arranged to the upper part of the weld zone and arc light 13 is reflected thereon and the weld zone is extensively made to the same brightness as the arc light 13. This weld zone projected with the high brightness extensively can be observed in a visible beam spectrum area with a part 14d close to the eye of the optical means 14 by an optical fiber bundle having a photodetection part 14b provided with the filter to cut an infrared spectrum area harmful to the naked eye.
