PURPOSE:To reserve a channel only for a broadcasting program which is receivable and to completely prevent the missing of the reception of a reserved channel by displaying a reserving operation for a channel in which there is no broadcasting program as invalid reservation. CONSTITUTION:The channel information of a receivable broadcasting program is inputted from a keyboard part 15, and the information is stored in a channel memory 16. If a reservation channel information and a reservation program number information are inputted through the keyboard part 15, these information are transmitted to a decoding part 13. The part 13 reads out the channel information of a broadcasting program from the channel memory 16, and collates if this information is coincident with the received reservation channel information or not, and registers these reservation channel information and the reservation program number information in case of the coincidence with each other. On the other hand, in case of non-coincidence, the part 13 displays the reservation operation as the invalid reservation on a displayer part 17.
