PURPOSE:To improve article assembly efficiency, by continuously performing tape draw-out, slitting, peeling, inter-member adhesion and cut-off, when an integrated article is assembled by fixing at least two members through the medium of a double coated adhesive tape. CONSTITUTION:The processing device comprises (1) a roll 21 on which a double- coated adhesive tape 5 is wound, (2) a draw-out means 24 for drawing the tape 5 out of the roll 21, (3) a 1st slitting means for making a slit 26 along the side edge near at least one side edge of the upper or lower release paper 22a, 22b of the tape 5 drawn out, (4) a peeling means 27 for peeling the upper or lower release paper 22a, 22b having the slit 26, with at least one side portion thereof being left intact, (5) an adhering means 29 for adhering at least one member 2 to the tape 5 from which the upper or lower release paper has been removed, (6) a 2nd slitting means 30 for making a slit 31 having a contour smaller than the adhered of the member 2 in the tape 5 having the member 2 adhered thereto and in the lower or upper release paper, and (7) a separating means for cutting the member 2, the tape 5 adhered thereto and the lower or upper release paper off from the tape 5 having the slit 31.
