PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of pollution by dust and to improve braking properties, by providing a device exclusively for brake use which uses the resistance force of a road surface during braking as a main control force and the force of a wire spring as an auxiliary force and is capable of switching provision of braking performance and provision of road surface resistance release performance. CONSTITUTION:A device exclusively for braking use is formed with a brake pin 1 and a wire spring 2 so that brake performance A and performance B of escaping road surface resistance are provided through a road surface resistance force and the force of the wire spring 2. This constitution, when brake is applied, forces a brake pin 1 to be protruded from a tyre tread by a road surface resistance as shown in A in Fig and function as a spike. When there is low road surface resistance during running, the brake pin 1 is fallen as shown in B in Fig and functions as a studless tyre. This constitution prevents the occurrence of pollution by dust and enables ensurance of braking properties.
