PURPOSE:To easily change of cladding ratio and to produce a cladding ingot without detaching at a solidified boundary face between a core material and molten metal by installing a mold as inclining and making the mold horizontal after the casting is completed. CONSTITUTION:The core material 2 having the prescribed dimension, and coating facing material 3 for surface oxidizing, is fixed to frame 6 near the bottom part of mold 1. Next, after inclining the mold 1 at the prescribed angle by a mold lifting device 8, the molten steel 4 for enclosing a cast-in material is poured from a pouring tube 7 for bottom casting. After the pouring of molten steel 4 having the prescribed cladding ratio is completed or after the core material 2 is covered by the molten steel 4, the mold 1 is made to horizontal state by the mold lifting device 8, and the molten steel is solidified. In this way, scum floating on the molten surface is difficult to enclose in the steel, and as the scum is not trapped on the surface of core material, the ingot having the optional cladding ratio without detaching at the solidified boundary face between the core material 2 and the molten steel 4 is obtd.
