PURPOSE:To produce a food, containing ingredients required for human bodies and completely free of unfavorable smell of small fishes, by boiling, drying and pulverizing the whole small fishes, molding the pulverized small fishes into tablets and applying sugar coating thereto. CONSTITUTION:Whole small fishes, e.g. fresh sardine, horse mackerel, etc., are boiled, dried and the pulverized in a mixer to provide flour. A bonding medium consisting of vegetable starch, e.g. corn starch, etc., is added and the resultant flour is stirred and blended. The obtained blend is them molded into a cylindrical or spherical form in a molding tool, sterilized with a germicidal lamp, etc., baked at a suitable temperature, dried and solidified. The resultant solid material is then stirred in a saccharide to apply sugar coating thereto. The coated material is dried while heating and subsequently polished with a polishing machine to carry out glazing. |
