PURPOSE:To allow stator coils to be applied with high commutation voltage under no restriction of the voltage of a DC power supply, by connecting the DC power supply, a DC reactor, stator coils of a switch type reluctance motor and a commutation circuit in series. CONSTITUTION:To stator coils 2-4 of a switch type reluctance motor are connected in series diodes 6-8 and thyristers 12-14. Between conjunctions of diodes 6-8 and thyristers 12-14 are connected capacitors 9 11. The thyristers 12-14 are ignited by a control circuit 15, when the commutation control is performed by the capacitors 9-11. To coils 2-4 is supplied the voltage controlled by a DC power supply 20 through a commutation reactor 5. The leading and trailing edges of the current to the stator coils can thereby be expedited. |
