PURPOSE:To perform a high accuracy velocity control by transmitting to an output shaft side an angular velocity proportional to the sum of or difference between angular velocities of two stepping motors. CONSTITUTION:Two stepping motors 3, 5 are arranged so as to be positioned on the same axis l 1 in the inner part of a stepping motor type actuator 1. Both motors 3, 5 can perform forward and reverse rotations of first and second hollow shafts 7, 9 and adjust increase and decrease of a rotational speed. First and second bevel gears 11, 13 constituting a differential mechanism are fastened to tips of said shafts 7, 9 to engage a pair of third bevel gears 15, 17. Also, holes 19, 21 are formed in a direction of center axis of said gears, and a differential shaft 23 is fitted thereinto via bearings 25, 27 and fixed integrally so as to intersect perpendicularly to an output shaft 29. Thus, said differential mechanisms 11-17 can improve resolution when performing a transmission to the output shaft 29 side at an angular velocity proportional to a difference between angular velocities of both motors 3, 5 and can control said velocity over a wide range in case of transmission at an angular velocity proportional to a sum of both angular velocities. |
