PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in the corrosion resistance at an edge part by electrodepositing a paint capable of being cured at ordinary temp. on the imperfectly coated part of the edge part of a metallic produce applied with corrosion preventive coating. CONSTITUTION:Corrosion preventive coating is applied to the surface of a metallic product, the coated film is cured, and then a cold curing type electrodeposition paint is electrodeposited on the uncoated part of the edge part. A public-known electrodeposition paint can be used in this case. The corrosion resistance at the edge part is improved by this electrodeposition, and the costs of equipment, fuel, etc., can be reduced since the coated film is curable at ordinary temp.
