PURPOSE:To contrive the attainment of a compact telephone system by dividing a calling unit into two blocks and arranging them in a cover and a case main body subjected to hinge engagement so that the blocks are folded with each other. CONSTITUTION:An antenna 11, a transmission/reception circuit 12, a microphone 13, an access button 14, an external line channel selection switch 15, an operation keyboard 16 are combined in one operation block, and a speaker 17, a power switch 18, a battery 19 are combined to other reception block Band both blocks A, B are connected electrically by a cable 20. The calling unit of the cordless telephone set is made small in size and to be folded. Thus, the miniaturization like a cigarette size is attained and it is contained in a breast pocket sufficiently and the portability is convenient much.
