PURPOSE:To obtain a diversity receiver with simple circuit constitution and low manufacture cost by deciding the conformity/non conformity of a demodulation signal of a demodulation circuit demodulating a signal detected by a reception circuit so as to switch plural antennas. CONSTITUTION:A digital signal sent from a demodulation circuit 5 having a noise rejection circuit is demodulated by detection output and the demodulation signal A is inputted to a detection decision circuit 7 and a gate circuit 9. The detection decision circuit 7 is a circuit to decide the conformity/ non conformity of the demodulation signal A and the gate control signal and the antenna switching signal by the decision are outputted to the gate circuit 9 and the antenna switching drive circuit 8. The antenna switching drive circuit 8 applies antenna switching to switch the reception antenna connected to the front end 3 through the antenna switching circuit 2, for example, from the antenna 1a to the 1b or vice versa. The gate circuit 9 sends the demodulation signal A to a data processing circuit 11 through a gate circuit output section 10.
